BUR BUR was born from a lifelong friendship and a cherished family tradition. We met as children, spending our afternoons playing salon with a DIY burdock hair mask crafted by Ksenia’s grandmother, Ludmila. Burdock oil, known for its ability to promote hair growth, was a staple in her beauty rituals, and it only made sense to carry that tradition forward.

Ludmila’s name means “love to the people,” which perfectly captures the heart of our mission: to bring forward a product that is loved by many, nurtures, empowers, and celebrates self-care. Combining a time-honored recipe with other powerful botanicals, we’ve crafted a formula that honors the past while embracing modern science.
